Amalfi Heaven Gardens

The terraced gardens of the Amalfi Coast are among the most beautiful in the world, sharing their landscape splendor with extraordinary coastal views.
On the Amalfi coast, as well as in other places in Italy and Europe, terraced landscapes represent a resource of sustainability and environmental conservation.
The plants you can find in our terraced gardens are divided in three levels: the olive grove, the citrus grove and the vineyard, and the vegetable garden.

How to reach Amalfi

How to reach us

Our gardens are located in Via Mauro Comite 50, 84011 Amalfi (SA), right in front of G.A.S. Bar, about a kilometer far only from the center of Amalfi (Positano direction) and are easily reachable on foot, by bus or by car (not recommended due to the very few parking spots available).

Center of Amalfi

From the center of Amalfi

  • ​​​On foot: Take a nice walk of about 20 minutes in the direction of Positano and up the stairs from the road. Gardens entrance is on the right, in front of G.A.S. Bar.

 

  • By bus: Take a bus in the direction of Sorrento, Agerola or Pogerola and ask the driver to be dropped off at G.A.S. Bar. The journey takes just 3 minutes. We are just up the stairs in front of G.A.S. Bar.
    Tickets CANNOT be bought on board, you need to buy them before to get on the bus.
    Bus schedules can be checked on     sitasudtrasporti.it/orari (select Campania).

 

  • By car (not recommended due to the very few parking spots available): Drive 1 kilometer from the center of Amalfi in the direction of Positano. You will find the Gardens entrance on the right, in front of G.A.S. Bar (Via Mauro Comite 50, Amalfi 84011 SA). G.A.S. Bar Parking is located 20 meters before the gardens entrance. If nobody is at the parking, ask inside of G.A.S BAR, right next to it. From there, take the stairs to reach the gardens.
    It's recommended to be at the parking lot at least a hour early, considering availability, traffic and parking time. DO NOT leave the car parked on the road: it might be removed by the police with a fine.​ Alternative parking open 24/7:     LUNA ROSSA parking in the center of Amalfi (from there you can reach us on foot or by bus -see instructions above-).​

From villages between Sorrento and Amalfi  (Positano, Praiano, Furore, Conca dei Marini, Pogerola, Agerola)

  • By bus: Take a bus in the direction of Amalfi. Since our gardens are placed a kilometer before the last bus stop in Amalfi, you will need to tell to the bus drivers to make a stop in front of G.A.S. Bar when almost there (so they do not not forget). We are just up the stairs on the other side of the road.
    Tickets CANNOT be bought on board, you need to buy them before to get on the bus.
    If you miss the bus stop and reach the center of Amalfi, follow the     instructions above to reach us from there.

  • By car (not recommended due to the very few parking spots available): Driving in the direction of Amalfi you will find the gardens entrance 1 kilometer before the center, on the left (Via Mauro Comite 50, 84011 Amalfi SA), right in front of G.A.S. Bar. G.A.S. Bar Parking is located 20 meters after the gardens entrance. If nobody is at the parking, ask inside of G.A.S Bar, right next to it. From there, take the stairs to reach the gardens.

Salerno

From villages between Salerno and Amalfi  (Salerno, Vietri sul Mare, Cetara, Erchie, Maiori, Minori, Marmorata, Atrani)

Since these villages are located on the opposite side of the Coast compared to where we are, the center of Amalfi has to be reached first and then our base following the instructions above on how to reach us from the center of Amalfi.

Center of Amalfi can be reached:

  • By bus: Take a bus in the direction of Amalfi. Once in the center, follow the instructions above to reach our gardens.
    Tickets CANNOT be bought on board, you need to buy them before to get on the bus.
    Bus schedules can be checked on     sitasudtrasporti.it/orari (select Campania).

 

 

  • By car (not recommended due to the very few parking spots available): Once in the center of Amalfi, drive 1 kilometer in the direction of Positano to reach the gardens entrance on the right side of the road (Via Mauro Comite 50, 84011 Amalfi SA). G.A.S. Bar Parking is located 20 meters before the gardens entrance. If nobody is at the parking, ask inside of G.A.S Bar, right next to it. From there, take the stairs to reach the gardens.

From Naples, Rome and anywhere else

  • If you're coming from farther away you should get to Salerno first by bus or by train (train only, if you're coming from Rome), and once there get to Amalfi by ferry or by bus following the instructions above.
